Having well over a decades long career in the music industry, I’ve celebrated a lot of victories but have endured many more losses. While we must all blaze our own trail, some mistakes can be avoided by taking heed to the missteps of others. You do that by listening to and studying their stories.
For me and I’m sure many others, 2020 has been the year of perfect hindsight vision. When the world halted due to Covid-19 in early March, for the first time in years I took the opportunity to reflect on my life in depth, which revealed a lot of repressed pain through regret. I began making notes of the occasions where I expressed doubt instead of faith and ended up writing this book.
Because I believe a good narrative doesn’t have to be long to be impactful, this book is a collection of short stories based on my professional experiences that I feel will resonate and/or educate. From quitting and fear, to attitudes of indifference and negligence, this book is autobiographical yet relatable.
This life is but a vapor. It’s here one day and disappears the next. With wisdom being a great teacher, learn to leverage other people’s experiences.
The more you know, the more you grow.
